Richard and Rebecca Stanislaw will present the last of the summer lecture series 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, in the Maloney Lecture Hall of the Ocean City Free Public Library.
Expect singalongs, recordings, and history to highlight sea chanteys, children’s water songs, popular tunes, and official songs of the Coast Guard and Navy.
The presentation is free and no reservations are necessary. The Museum is open late on Thursday evenings, so the public can visit displays prior to event.
The following Thursday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m., the museum invites children and parents to an evening of games from the early 1900s presented by Babs Stefano. Ron Bauer of TJ’s opens the event with a demonstration of ice cream making (and the opportunity to purchase some homemade flavors). Reservations are recommended: (609) 399-1801.
