Republican candidates for the state Assembly Sam Fiocchi and Jim Sauro invite the public to their third campaign Town Hall Meeting 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at the Ocean City Free Public Library.

The November election will decide all 80 seats in the New Jersey General Assembly.
Republican incumbent Fiocchi and Sauro will face Democratic incumbent Bob Andrzecjzak and Robert "Bruce" Land.

Democrats currently hold 48 of the Assembly’s 80 seats.
Born and raised in Vineland, Fiocchi went to work in his family’s business serving the region’s agricultural industry. He owned and operated the company Lee Rain, Inc. for almost 40 years, according to a biography on
FiocchiSauro.com. Fiocchi was elected to the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders, where he served from 2011 through December 2013, before being sworn into the General Assembly in January 2014.
Sauro has served two separate stints on the Cumberland County Freeholder Board. He is the former legislative chairman for the New Jersey State League of Master Plumbers.
The First District represents Cape May County and parts of Atlantic and Cumberland counties.
