Ocean City High School competes in the NSSA National Championship in California in 2014.
The Ocean City High School surf team is raising money for its June trip to the National Scholastic Surf Association championships in California, and will sponsor a car wash and yard sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Ocean City Intermediate School.
Supporters from the community are encouraged to come out to support the team, and the team is looking for donations of used surf/skate equipment and clothing, including:
- Surfboards, wetsuits, boots
- Skateboard helmets, elbow pads
- Skateboards, paddleboards
- Skimboards, boogie boards
- Wetsuits, leashes, rashguards
- Surf car racks
- Boots, hoods & gloves
- Skim boards, rashguards
- Surfing DVD’s
- Skateboard ramps (small)
