The Ocean City Sailing Foundation (
www.ocsailingfoundation.org) at the Bayside Center (520 Bay Ave.) will celebrate the start of its eighth year with an open house 9 a.m. to noon,
Saturday, July 4.
The event originally had been scheduled for June 27 but was postponed due to bad weather.
Anybody interested in learning to sail is invited to attend the free event, and sailboat rides will be given to all attendees.
All OCSF sailboats will be on display and the instructors will provide information on learn-to-sail camp and private lessons.
The OCSF’s mission is to provide sailing instruction at affordable prices to families and local community members.
The Foundation teaches approximately 200 sailing campers each season.
