Ocean City Expected to Dodge Super Bowl Storm

  • News
The National Weather Service snowfall forecast predicts no snow or less than an inch for Ocean City from a storm Feb. 1 and 2. A winter storm that could dump more than a foot of snow on the Poconos and northwestern New Jersey is predicted to leave no significant accumulation in Ocean City. Rain, snow and sleet is expected to start falling during the Super Bowl on Sunday evening (Feb. 1), but the precipitation should turn to all rain after 10 p.m. in Ocean City. The mix could create slippery driving conditions for anybody traveling the roads after the game. Rain is expected to continue Monday, followed by bitter cold on Tuesday with a high temperature of 22 degrees. See the National Weather Service briefing package below.
