The boardwalk between Sixth Street and Eighth Street will be closed on New Year's Eve. Those traveling to first night events will be asked to use Atlantic Ave.
The boardwalk between Sixth and Eighth Street is closed for ongoing construction. First Night participants will be asked to use Atlantic Avenue as they travel between events on New Year's Eve.
Free parking is available in lots on Moorlyn Terrace and Eighth Street. There are events at Ocean City High School, Ocean City Civic Center, and Gillian's Wonderland Pier on Sixth Street.
The best two places to watch the fireworks at midnight will be the boardwalk between Third and Fifth Street and the boardwalk between Eighth and Tenth Street.
