A segment of the Food Network show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” filmed at Piccini restaurant in Ocean City will air on Friday, Dec. 18.
The episode is titled "East-West Flavorfest" and will feature the Ocean City "pizza parlor firin' up cheeseburger pie and chicken vodka," along with a Washington D.C. "funky underground joint serving knockout dumplings and the bomb ramen" and a Colorado Springs "comfort food cafe going big with their Rocky Mountain roast beef and king-sized cinnamon rolls."
The episode can be seen on the Food Network (Comcast Channel 51 or 839) at 10 p.m. Dec. 18 and again at 1 a.m. Dec. 19.
The show was filmed at Piccini on Columbus Day and the following day and included many loyal customers of the popular local restaurant.
