How blessed we are to live in such a giving community!
This past Saturday, the Ocean City Post Office held a food drive for the Ocean City Community Food Cupboard. Our community donated 8,407+ pounds of non-perishable food items to the Ocean City Food Cupboard.
In addition, many volunteers from Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, youth groups, religious classes, adult volunteers from Wesley Manor and various churches in the community rallied to off-load postal trucks, weigh, sort and shelve the items that were donated. A HUGE job!! Many thanks.
I am extremely grateful to all the participants for giving so generously of their time to assist in this special food drive.
