The Ocean City Junior Raiders youth football teams saw action over the weekend against the Brigantine Rams.
The JV team (5
th and 6
th graders) ran its record to 3-0 with a third consecutive shutout victory of 32-0. The JV squad was paced with three touchdowns by Jacob Wilson. Kareem Lovest and JP Patella added a touchdown each. The defense forced 5 turnovers in the game including interceptions by Zack Tighe and JP Patella.
Peewee (3
rd and 4
th grade) had a dominating 25-0 victory to improve its record to 1-2.
Varsity (7
th and 8
th grade) had a furious second half comeback, only to fall short, 35-26.
