The National Weather Service snowfall forecast calls for 0 to 1 inch of snow in Ocean City and 6 to 8 inches in parts of Pennsylvania.
Ocean City will ride a roller coaster of temperatures over the next few days with the high expected to top 65 degrees on Monday afternoon and the low falling far enough to allow a tiny bit of snow on Wednesday night.
Rain is expected to clear by noon Monday and make way for a warm but windy afternoon with a high near 65 and south winds gusting as strong as 35 mph.
The rain will return by Wednesday morning. Those traveling away from Ocean City on Wednesday will see worse conditions those visiting the island.
Heavy precipitation in Ocean City on Wednesday will be all rain (with a high near 45 degrees) until the evening when less than an inch of accumulating snow is possible. Areas west of Interstate 95 could see four inches of snow or more.
Thanksgiving is expected to be sunny with a high near 44 degrees.
Surfers, meanwhile, will have a week to be thankful for. A head-high southeast windswell on Monday could clean up on Tuesday with offshore winds improving conditions. Another southeast windswell is expected to return on Thanksgiving day. The ocean water temperature is 47 degrees.
