The Ocean City High School surfing team will hold a yard sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (May 31) at the Ocean City Intermediate School (18th Street and Bay Avenue).
The event will raise funds to help send the team to
the National Scholastic Surfing Association championship June 14 to 16 at the Trestles break near Dana Point, Calif. Ocean City High School has won 23 of the past 25 NSSA Northeast Championship titles.
The team is asking everybody to consider donating used surf/skate equipment and clothing, including:
- Surfboards
- Skateboard helmets
- Skateboards
- Skateboard knee/elbow pads
- Wetsuits
- Surf car racks
- Boots, hoods & gloves
- Skim boards
- Paddleboards
- Boogie boards
- Leashes
- Rash guards
- Surfing DVD’s
- Skateboard ramps (small)
Contributors can drop off material at any of the following locations:
