Just as a point of reference: Next time you cross the Ninth Street Bridge, take a look at the monuments that flank the pedestrian/bicycle path next to the roadway. They mark the depth of the water that covered Ocean City during the record flooding of Superstorm Sandy on the evening of Oct. 29, 2012.
