Sailing Foundation to Hold Open House Saturday on the Water

The Ocean City Sailing Foundation (www.ocsailingfoundation.org) at the Bayside Center (520 Bay Ave.) will celebrate the start of its seventh year with an open house 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 28. Anybody interested in learning to sail is invited to attend the free event, and sailboat rides will be given to all attendees. All OCSF sailboats will be on display and the instructors will answer questions about the sport of sailing and available classes at the Bayside Center. The OCSF's mission is "to promote sailing to Youth and Families in the Greater Ocean City Area by providing safe, affordable sailing instruction and sailing opportunities." The Foundation teaches approximately 200 sailing campers each season.
