Accent Gallery (956 Asbury Avenue) presents an exhibit titled Coastal Compositions this summer. It features a collection of new works by Liz Finley and Patricia Moses, who will be welcomed at an artist reception 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. The public is invited to attend.
Both artists derive their inspiration from the natural beauty found along the southern coast of New Jersey. A vibrant collection of oil paintings, Coastal Compositions, conveys the richness of subject in great detail.
Finley began her study of oil painting after graduating from Virginia Tech. She has exhibited in numerous shows throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
Moses, a graduate of Elizabethtown College, teaches students of all ages in venues such as the Wetlands Institute of Stone Harbor, as well as in her home studio. She has worked to promote a science and art curriculum that teaches environmental appreciation for students K-12 in New Jersey.
Coastal Compositions will be on exhibit from July 28 through August 10.
