Ocean City Seeks Volunteers for Tourism Development, Utility Advisory and Shade Tree Boards

The City of Ocean City is seeking applicants for volunteer positions on three boards and commissions. Anybody with interest and relevant experience is encouraged to apply. Filing deadline is Monday, March 14, 2014 Vacant positions are as follows: Tourist Development Commission Term of Office:  Fill unexpired 2-year term ending December 31, 2014. Note:  Commission members must be municipal business licensees, upon whom additional assessment has been imposed, or if a license is issued in the name of a corporation or partnership, their representative. Meetings:  Bi-monthly at 9:30 am currently at the Senior Center Shade Tree Committee Term of Office:  4 Years Meetings: Held fourth Wednesday of each month; 9:00 am, Henry S. Knight Building Utility Advisory Commission Term of Office: 4 Years Meetings: Held on the third Wednesday of each month; 9:00 am, Henry S.
