Gloria Votta, RE/MAX At The Shore, is sworn in by Christine Clemans, Goldcoast Sotheby’s International Realty.
The Ocean City Board of Realtors announced that Gloria Votta of RE/MAX at The Shore Realty was sworn in as the 2015 president of the Board of Directors at its installation luncheon on Monday, Dec. 1 at the Crab Trap Restaurant in Somers Point.
Votta serves as chairperson of the OCBOR Community Service Committee and also serves on the Grievance, Finance and Education committees.
As the Chair of Community Service Committee, Votta has coordinated these events: donations for the Ocean City Humane Society, collection drive for the Ecumenical Council Clothes Closet, collection drive for the Food Cupboard, and the OCBOR annual Plant Sale, which Benefits the Waves of Caring.
Each first day of spring, Gloria organizes members/Realtors of the Community Service Committee and to form a car caravan to drive to a local plant nursery. Approximately 125 daffodil plants are purchased and then delivered to the Wesley Shores Care Facility, where each resident receives a beautiful daffodil plant, as a reminder of the happiness of the first day of spring.
Votta is a New Jersey-licensed Broker Associate with the following educational designations: CRS Designation, ABR Designation and e-Pro Designation. Votta and her husband, Hank, are residents of Ocean City.
She succeeds Ken Sedberry of Berger Realty as president.
