Bill Hughes Jr. won the Democratic nomination to run for New Jersey's Second District seat in the House of Representatives.
Bill Hughes Jr. invites the public to the grand opening of his new campaign headquarters 6 to 8 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 4) at the Crown Bank building at 801 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City.
The event will include refreshments, volunteer recruiting and training, and distribution of campaign material.
Hughes is a Democrat running against 10-term Republican U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo for a seat in Congress in the November 2014 general election.
Hughes is an Ocean City native whose father held the same Congressional seat
from 1974 to 1994.
