The search is on for talented people with backgrounds in music, dance, drama, comedy and more.
A new event, the Ocean City Talent Show, is seeking contestants for a May 3 show on the Ocean City Music Pier.
Contestants of all ages, either solo or in groups, are welcome.
Anybody who wants to participate must first complete an application, which is available at
www.oceancitytheatreccompany.com or by calling 609-398-1118. Applications must be completed and returned by April 28, and with a limited number of contestant spaces those that are interested should act soon.
A panel of judges with an impressive background in the entertainment industry will award prizes, trophies and cash.
The OC’s Got Talent competition will be open to the public to watch and will be held 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, on the Music Pier. Tickets are $10 per person with the proceeds benefiting the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company. For tickets call 609-525-9300 or visit
