The Ocean City Night in Venice boat parade is scheduled for July 26, 2014.

SATURDAY, JULY 26

  • Night in Venice: The annual decorated boat parade starts at 7:30 p.m. on the bayside of Ocean City between the Ocean City-Longport Bridge and Tennessee Avenue (near 22nd Street). To reserve, a NIV viewing spot at the Bayside Center, 525 Bay Ave., and enjoy entertainment prior to the Parade, call 609-525-9300. Tickets are $7 and $3 for children under 12.   • “How I Became A PIRATE” presented by the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company. Young Jeremy Jacob is digging in the sand on the North Beach when he is greeted by Pirates and recruited to find the perfect spot for their treasure. This is a story of adventure and finding one’s own heart- a path that can’t be found on a Treasure Map. 10:30 a.m. at the Moorlyn Family Theatre, 837 Moorlyn Terrace, across from the Music Pier.   • COUNTRY DIVAS starring Jackie Buckingham and the Jersey Shore Pops presenting the songs of the Great Ladies of Country Music, including Patsy Cline, Crystal Gayle, Tammy Wynette, Taylor Swift and the great Dolly Parton, 2 p.m. at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk.   • Character Nights (6 p.m.)  On the Ocean City Boardwalk.  Boardwalk mascots will sign autographs in front of the Music Pier. Come join the fun and meet all the Ocean City Boardwalk Merchants’ Mascots. Sponsored by Manco and Manco’s Pizza and Gillian’s Wonderland Pier.

 SUNDAY, JULY 27

MONDAY, JULY 28

  • The BERENSTAIN BEARS presented by the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company. Guitar strumming Cowboy Joe introduces and comments on the play’s five stories which are based on five, classical Berenstain Bears Books. These stories come together in one fun, entertaining and heartwarming production that features everyone’s favorite family of bears. 10:30 a.m. at the Music Pier.   • Mummers Night  (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.): On the Ocean City Boardwalk (6th to 14th streets), sponsored by Shrivers, Surf Mall, Shirt Shack and Ocean Paradise.
  • Beach Walks: Tickets may be purchased on-site, adults for $1 and children for 50 cents; South End at 9 a.m. at the 59th Street and Central Avenue entrance to Corson’s Island State Park; North End at 6:30 p.m. at the Ocean City-Longport Bridge Parking Lot (Gardens Parkway)
  • ‘Frozen’ Sing-Along: Join Queen Elsa and other characters in singing “Let It Go” and other favorites from the Disney movie. See more

EVERY WEDNESDAY THROUGH THE END OF AUGUST

  • Farmers Market (8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Sept. 10) On the Ocean City Tabernacle Grounds (Sixth Street and Asbury Avenue) every Wednesday, produce vendors as well as crafters will also gather to display their goods.
  • Beach Walks: Tickets may be purchased on-site, adults for $1 and children for 50 cents; South End at 6:30 p.m. at the 59th Street and Central Avenue entrance to Corson’s Island State Park; North End at 9 a.m. at the Ocean City-Longport Bridge Parking Lot (Gardens Parkway)

WEDNESDAY, JULY 30

The Ocean City Pops presents When HARRY and GLENN come to town!! 8 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. The best songs of Glenn Miller and Harry James in this BIG BAND Pop’s Extravaganza with Dave Martin and Larry Larson. Tickets $15/$10 at www.ocnj.us/boxoffice or call (609) 525-9248.

EVERY THURSDAY THROUGH THE END OF AUGUST

  • Market Days (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): On downtown Asbury Avenue (6th to 11th streets), entertainment, face painters and balloon sculptors.
  • Family Nights (7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) On the Ocean City Boardwalk (6th to 14th streets), musical and family entertainment at different blocks on the boardwalk sponsored by: Old Salt, Playland Castaway Cove, Johnson’s Popcorn, Haunted Golf and Congo Falls
  • Inn to Inn Tours (2 p.m. to 4 p.m) Commencing at 7th Street and Central Avenue, an old-fashioned trolley winds its way through center city neighborhoods for an intimate visit to four or five bed and breakfasts. Afternoon refreshments are offered at the conclusion of the tours.

THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, JULY 31 to AUG. 2

ART OF SURFING Festival 2014, at Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk; Hours Thurs. 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Fri. and Sat. noon to 10 p.m. A free, family event featuring original art from surfing’s biggest names, live music, and a chance to meet artists from across the country.
