United Methodist Communities, The Shores, is hosting a fundraising event for Alzheimer’s awareness on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 4-7 p.m. at Josie Kelly’s Public House in Somers Point.
The event includes a signature Purple Passion mock cocktail, a light fare menu and a DJ.
Some of the proceeds will go to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s team. The walk, scheduled for Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. at Kennedy Plaza and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, raises money for Alzheimer’s care and research efforts.
