Cape May County reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, raising the total number to 515 countywide.
No new deaths were reported.
“We remain actively involved with federal, state, and regional partners to ensure alignment with evolving guidance on protecting the health of our community and our health care workforce,” Cape May County Health Officer Kevin Thomas said in a press release.
Following is a breakdown of the number of coronavirus cases and deaths in each municipality of the county:

According to the county press release, people with confirmed COVID-19 infection have experienced mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms such as fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, and shortness of breath. Those at high risk are older adults, and medically fragile individuals with underlying medical conditions.
Cape May County residents should take these precautions to stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses:
- Wash hands with liquid soap and water and rub for at least 20 seconds.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing
- Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Wear a cloth facemask over your nose and mouth.
