OCEAN CITY, NJ (May 19, 2016)- Shore Shuttle, the newest ride-share transportation to hit the Jersey Shore this summer, is opening up their season with a ribbon cutting ceremony right before Memorial Day Weekend.
On Thursday, May 26th at 1:15pm, Gordon Michaelis, the brains behind Shore Shuttle, will be holding the event in front of the Shore Shuttle headquarters in Somers Point (112 Woodland Avenue, Suite 202). In attendance will be the Ocean City Chamber as well as the Somers Point Business Association, both of which Michaelis is a part of. Shore Shuttle allows for a unique collaboration between the local communities that benefits all.
Shore Shuttle begins its official season the next day, Friday, May 27th and will continue a full service schedule until Labor Day. The 14 passenger shuttles, wrapped in bright orange and yellow, will pick you up at your home, take you to one of the many destination points along their route, and then return you home safely. Reservations are made ahead of time online or by phone with the pick-up location and time, as well as the destination and return time.
The shuttles will be consistently serving the towns of Ocean City, Somers Point, Marmora, Strathmere, Longport, and Margate. You can spend your days strolling the shops and cafes of Downtown Ocean City and your nights grabbing dinner and drinks from a restaurant across the bridge. Shore Shuttle is here to make sure your summer vacation is enjoyable, affordable, and stress free.
