This event is to raise money for the Ocean City & South Jersey people that now live in Rincon, Puerto Rico and were devestated by Hurricane Maria.
It destroyed down there and like us they rely on their tourist season during the winter months to make their income. This year they won’t have that oppourtunity. There is no water, food and electricity is scheduled to be restored at a minimum of 3 months from now.
The money raised will go directly to them not to a large national fund in hopes it gets to them. Having lived there myself I can’t imagine what it’s like down there. Our community always steps it up to help our own and right now they need it like never before!!
There will be great food by many of the local eateries, libations for both adults & children, live entertainment & a killer raffle.
