Ocean City High School has changed the graduation date for the Class of 2020 from July 7 to July 9. Following is a statement from the school district explaining why.
Due to the revised regulations by N.J. State officials regarding holding graduation ceremonies on the Primary Election Day, we have had to move our OCHS Graduation to Thursday, July 9th in the morning at Carey Stadium.
As we move towards this date, we will await updated guidance from Governor Murphy’s office regarding the Social Distancing and Gathering Executive Order.
When we receive additional guidance, we will adjust our plan accordingly and share with the seniors and their families.
