Ocean City Board of Education presents a school budget that meets the needs of the students with a slight savings for the 2020-21 school year, officials say.

Ocean City High School celebrated the Class of 2019 recipients of scholarships and awards on Thursday, June 6.

The awards were granted through local, regional, state and even some national scholarships.

“I wanted to extend a special thank you to all of the organizations and individual benefactors who generously gave scholarships or awards to our 2019 graduates totaling nearly $1.5 million, the highest ever in OCHS history,” said Schools Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Taylor. “We sincerely appreciate the overwhelming community support of our students. You are making dreams come true.”
