The annual Ocean City Police Chase 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) run, 2-mile walk and fun runs for kids take place on Saturday, June 7, starting at Gillian’s Wonderland Pier on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
On-site registration opens at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m.
The 5K run and 2-mile walk start at Wonderland Pier (Sixth Street and Boardwalk) with the majority of the 5K race course on the boardwalk and streets of Ocean City, finishing at the Ocean City High School track.

T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 entrants. Packet pickup will be available at the Sneaker Shop, 704 Asbury Avenue, noon to 6 p.m. June 6.
Kids can register for the fun runs on race day at no charge.
Sponsors include the Ocean City Policeman’s Benevolent Association, Playland’s Castaway Cove and the Sneaker Shop. All proceeds benefit the PBA, which provides student scholarships, a Christmas toy drive, a free helmet program and the Youth Leadership Program.
