Kevin Smith had his Raiders ready to play last night. It was a well fought game that was tied 14-14 at half time. Then Ocean City broke it open in the second half for the 27-14 win over Absegami. Which is the exact opposite score of their game, this time last season.
The game was particularly exciting for Harry Pfeifle, the Senior QB, who had three long touchdown runs and Art Spackman, Senior Offensive Lineman, who iced the game with a late interception return for a touchdown.
Next up is a road game against Middle Township on 10/13 and then it is back home to face Mainland Regional on 10/20.
