The only spot where last weekend’s nor’easter carved into dunes was at Fifth Street.

Ocean City residents took advantage of sunny weather on Saturday to dry out from the flooding caused by a major coastal storm last weekend.

The storm caused the worst flooding since Superstorm Sandy, and tide levels were among the highest of the past few decades. (See sampling of historic tide levels updated with the new storm.)

Garages and ground-level stores and storage spaces between West Avenue and the bay were affected most.

Here are some images from around town.

What turned out to be a blizzard elsewhere was mostly rain in Ocean City, but still piles of debris-filled snow remained at spots throughout town a week later.
