The annual Juried Art Show will be held at the Ocean City Arts Center throughout November.
Art will be received for judging through Tuesday, Oct. 28. Prizes are: Best of Show, $200; Second Place, $150; Third Place, $100; and three Honorable Mentions at $50.
Artists may submit up to two pieces that have been completed in the past 3 years. Each entry costs $18. Eligible mediums are watercolor, pastels, mixed media, drawing and printmaking. Maximum framed size is 32 inches on any side. All work must be wired and ready to hang.
Art is also judged on presentation and framing.
“Last year we received more than 100 entries and about 50 were chosen to hang in the gallery throughout November,” Executive Director Rosalyn LIfshin said. “Artwork is encouraged to be for sale. In 2013, local artist Rae Jaffe’s “West Mediterranean” oil was chosen as Best of Show.”
