Ocean City American Legion to Celebrate 100th Anniversary With Concert

American Legion Post 524 is offering a lunch menu to the public on Wednesdays.

The annual American Legion Post 524 concert will be an even bigger event than in previous years. It will serve as a centerpiece of the American Legion’s 100th anniversary celebration.

Post 524 will host a concert at 7 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier on Saturday, June 29, featuring “Bruce in the USA,” a tribute band to Bruce Springsteen. Tickets are $35.

The concert will feature Springsteen music interspersed with patriotic-themed songs. The event is a major fundraising event for Post 524. Funds will be dedicated to providing benefits to veterans and their families.

Tickets may be purchased at the City Hall Welcome Center at 861 Asbury Ave. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. People may also buy tickets at the Roy Gillian Welcome Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at the Music Pier Box Office located at the Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends through late June, then also daily.
