The Ocean City Fishing Club (OCFC) will host its 49th Annual Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 22, for teams and individual anglers from throughout the tri-state region.

Registration for the event takes place from 5:30 am to 7 am at the Ocean City Intermediate School, 1801 Bay Avenue, in Ocean City. Under the aegis of the Association of Surf Angling Clubs (ASAC), the tournament has two fishing sessions: 7 am to 9:30 am, followed by a half-hour break and a second session from 10 am to 12:30 pm. During the competition, OCFC members will be stationed along the beaches to measure and record the catches.

Anglers will then return to the Intermediate School for lunch, door prizes, and the presentation of awards for first, second, and third-place finishers.

The entry cost for a team of six is $60. Individuals pay $15 per person.
