The Ocean City Tabernacle is located at 550 Wesley Ave.

The Ocean City Tabernacle will open for outdoor, in-person worship services this Sunday, June 21, at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed as recommended by the CDC.

Families are encouraged to celebrate Father’s Day in worship before enjoying the beach and Boardwalk. Music led by Worship Director Lee Martin will include hymns with Jeff Seals and Carolyn Lothian, as well as contemporary songs with Elena Castillo and Sarah Putiri.

Speaking at both services will be Duffy Robbins, professor of Youth Ministry at Grove City College in Pennsylvania.

A respected youth ministry veteran with 45 years of experience, Robbins speaks around the world to teenagers and people who care about teenagers.

Robbins is the author of numerous books, including “Ministry of Nurture,” “Youth Ministry Nuts and Bolts,” “Building a Youth Ministry That Builds Disciples,” and “Enjoy the Silence,” co-authored with Maggie Robbins.

Weather permitting, services will be held on the Sixth Street side of the Tabernacle grounds with parking available at the back of the property off Asbury Avenue.

Bring your own chairs if you are able. Folding chairs will also be available. The services will be live-streamed at octabernacle.org as well as on Facebook and YouTube for those who prefer to watch from home. In case of inclement weather, the services will be online only.
