In the midst of a prolonged heat wave, one thing most of South Jersey has been lacking is a good soaking. It looks as if we may finally see some tonight. A batch of strong to severe storms will move across Maryland and Delaware this evening and will reach our area after 10pm tonight.
Computer models show showers and t’storms moving in after 10pm and continuing through the overnight hours.
While the best chance of severe storms will be just to our south, we still run a risk for heavy downpours and possibly strong wind gusts.
Shower will linger through the overnight hours into your early Thursday morning. More clouds than sun for your Thursday with another chance of a few showers or t’storm. It will remain humid but temperatures will not be as hot as today, topping off in the mid 80s.
