Ocean City voters will elect the mayor and three City Council members in Tuesday’s municipal election. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Mayor Jay Gillian is seeking his fourth, four-year term in office. His opponent in the mayoral race is long-time City Councilman Keith Hartzell.
Three at-large City Council seats are up for grabs. These are four-year terms.
Council incumbents Karen Bergman and Pete Madden are running for re-election. Second Ward Councilman Tom Rotondi, former First Ward Councilman Michael DeVlieger, environmental advocate Donna Moore and political newcomer John “Tony P.” Polcini are also in the Council race for the at-large seats.
There are 9,678 registered voters in Ocean City, according to the Cape May County Clerk’s Office.
