The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that Gloria Votta, a realtor at Re/Max at the Shore with over 20 years of experience, will receive the 2023 Salute to Working Women Award.

She will be honored at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon at noon on April 26 at the Ocean City Yacht Club.

The award recognizes women in business for their outstanding professional and personal achievements.

“We are very happy to honor Gloria as our 2023 Salute to Working Women,” said Michele Gillian, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. “She has a passion for serving her customers and the Ocean City community. We are lucky to have her so involved in our community, and she certainly is deserving of this honor.”

Votta, her husband Hank, and her rescued fur baby, Vinnie, reside in Ocean City. She has worked in real estate since 2001 and is actively involved with the Ocean City Board of Realtors.

She was honored with the Realtor of the Year Award in 2013, has served on the Board of Realtors in various positions and was the organization’s president in 2015.

Barbara Jones, president and CEO of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, will be the keynote speaker at the awards luncheon.

The luncheon will honor all working women on Wednesday, April 26, at noon at the Ocean City Yacht Club. The luncheon is open to the public and is $30 per person.
