Historical Museum Hosts Grace Kelly Lecture

A program about Grace Kelly is this Thursday.

The free Summer Lecture Series by the Ocean City Historical Museum will feature an event celebrating the actress turned princess, Grace Kelly, on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Howard Stainton Senior Center, 1735 Simpson Ave.

Delight in the details of Kelly’s wedding to Prince Ranier, from the guest list and cake to the dress and honeymoon. This program is being presented by Al Crescenzo, Grace Kelly aficionado, Ocean City resident and retired Philadelphia school district history teacher.

Crescenzo has been a volunteer at the museum since 2009 and is a member of the Board of Trustees. Past lectures from him include Grace Kelly’s movie career, her involvement in early television, theater and radio, and how she met her prince.
