Former Trump White House Counsel to speak at Stockton University

Former White House Counsel Don McGahn will speak to students and staff at an invitation-only event at Stockton University.

The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University in Galloway Township will host a conversation with former White House Counsel Don McGahn 4 p.m. Jan. 23 at the college’s Performing Arts Center on the Galloway Township campus. The events is by invitation only and is not open to the general public. The media will cover the event.

McGahn, an Atlantic County native, worked as chief counsel for the National Republican Congressional Committee and served on the Federal Election Commission.

He also served as President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign counsel, general counsel of the Presidential Transition Team and White House Counsel.

As White House Counsel, he managed the judicial selection process, including the nominations of two Supreme Court Justices, and coordinated President Trump’s deregulation efforts.
