The Ocean City Pops orchestra will celebrate one of the Jersey Shore’s most treasured traditions when Miss America 2002 Katie Harman Ebner and Miss America 1998 Kate Shindle perform as special guest vocalists. Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler had been scheduled to perform but is no longer able to join the concert. Shindle – who wowed audiences as a headliner in the Ocean City Theatre Company’s “Broadway on the OC Boardwalk” show 10 years ago – will return to Ocean City to join Harman at the concert. The two former Miss Americas will take concertgoers on a journey through Broadway, pop and opera. Both have been recognized around the world for their vocal achievements. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.
