Chamber Salute to Working Women Set for Thursday

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce announces that Cricket Frank, corporate vice president for OC Hotels and Property Management (T/A Impala Island Inn and Beach Club Hotel), will receive the 2014 Salute to Working Women Award and will be honored at the April 10 Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at the Ocean City Yacht Club.

The award recognizes women in business for their outstanding professional and personal achievements.

For 50 years Cricket Frank has worked with OC Hotels and Property Management. She has worked in every department and is now the corporate vice president.

Being active in the community, she is trustee and vice chairman of the Board of Ocean City Community Center Association, vice president of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, and an executive member of the Ocean City Hospitality Association.

Amongst many activities, Frank was on the Pediatric Committee for Shore Memorial Hospital, Co-Chair of the Stainton Society of Shore Memorial Hospital, a Board Member of the Ocean City Cultural Arts Center, and a medic on the Ocean City Beach Patrol.

She has been married to Tony Frank for 49 years. They have two daughters, Kimberly and Tory, and three granddaughters, Berkeley, Anhwei and Goldie.

Janet M. Wagner, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Business at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will be the keynote speaker. Dean Wagner oversees the academic programs, faculty, and all BUSN operations.

The luncheon will honor all working women at home or in the workforce.   The luncheon is open to the public and is $25 per person.
