There will be a benefit for 1998 Ocean City High School graduate and athlete Christie Hess on Sunday, Dec. 6. The event will take place at Yesterday’s Bar in Marmora from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Beer will be served and entertainment will be provided by musical acts including Robin Gazzara, Nancy Malcun and Atley Moon. Admission is $20 at the door.
Christie Hess lives in San Diego with her two daughters, and her husband, John. She is expecting another girl. This fall she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Proceeds from the event will contribute to the cost of medical expenses, a home for Hess’s family, and college tuition for her girls.
