How much do you know about the variety of tactics used by scammers? What can you do to protect yourself from fraud?

Ocean City AARP Chapter 1062 is here to help with an important presentation for both seniors and those people who may assist seniors with their financial dealings.

This presentation on Dec. 10 will be both in person at the Ocean City Library, Room 110, and available via Zoom for those who cannot be present.

Elder fraud is on the rise and a record number of seniors have been threatened by perpetrators of these crimes who use a variety of tactics ranging from social security scams to romance scams.

On Dec. 10 at 12:30 p.m. an FBI agent specializing in the broad umbrella of crimes committed against seniors will present ways to identify such scams and protect yourself and loved ones.

Registration for Zoom is required. For the link, email OCNJAARP1062@gmail.com. If you are attending in person, please arrive at the auditorium by 12:15 p.m.
