Weekend in Ocean City: ‘Seussical’ and Jazz Improv

The Ocean City High School Drama Club’s performances of “Seussical The Musical” continue at 7:3o p.m. Friday, April 17, and 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Hughes Performing Arts Center at Ocean City High School (entrance on beach block of Sixth Street).

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors. For advance sales, call (609) 399-1290, ext. 1442. The musical is directed by Don Toal, Jr.

The South Jersey Jazz Society will present the Art of Pure Improvisation by jazz luminary Michael Pedicin at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19. The program will feature Pedicin explaining the premise and concept about what is to take place.

Pedicin will play the saxophones with an array of other talented musicians. The program takes place at the Ocean City Free Public Library in the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall.
