Veterans Mobile Clinic Returns to Ocean City on Wednesday

A Veterans Administration Mobile Clinic will offer free health services to veterans on Wednesday (Feb. 25) at the American Legion at 3304 Bay Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.

Ocean City American Legion Post 524 will again host the Veterans Administration Medical Center’s Mobile Outreach Clinic Van on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at post headquarters, 3304 Bay Avenue. The van last appeared on the island in December.

Area veterans will be offered primary care services including medical history and physicals, management of acute and chronic illnesses, women’s health and patient education. Ancillary services offered include immunizations and lab services. A social worker will be available for assistance with eligibility/enrollment, mental health referrals, and identification of resources available to veterans.

“All area veterans are encouraged to take advantage of this important medical outreach program while it is in our community,” said Ocean City American Legion Post 524 Commander Bob Marzulli.
