A Town Hall Meeting to provide an update on a citywide dredging program is still on for 7 p.m. Monday (Jan. 25) in the Christ Maloney Lecture Hall at the Ocean City Free Public Library.

Mayor Jay Gillian invites all to the meeting to hear representatives of ACT Engineering present an update on dredging. Gillian said all coastal towns continue to face serious regulatory obstacles as they work to dredge their bays. The presentation will update the public on the city’s strategy for overcoming these roadblocks and creating a sustainable program.

The city recently dedicated $20 million in its five-year capital plan to get the job done.
