Longtime residents of Ocean City Paul and Ruth Anselm share their passion for postcards at the next Ocean City Historical Museum Thursday night series at 7 p.m. July 24. The lecture is free and open to the public.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this collection of photos is worth millions. Exemplars will be on the screen for all to see as the Anselms reflect on their years of collecting.

Both Ruth and Paul have been volunteers at the museum for several decades and Paul is a former president of the Board of Directors of the museum. Ruth has coordinated volunteers and Paul coordinated the physical needs of the museum through relocation and major changes at its Community Center host location.  The Ocean City Historical Museum preserves history and celebrates those who make history.

The museum is in the midst of a new members drive with memberships ranging from $25 for individuals, $50 for families, $125 for benefactor. Corporate sponsorships are also provided by businesses in Ocean City. Members receive special opportunities and discounts at the museum.
