The Ocean City Music Pier’s popular annual Monday Night Concert Series opens for summer 2014 on June 30 with the Led Zeppelin tribute band Get the Led Out.
Tickets for all shows in the series are on sale at the Music Pier Box Office (Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace), through Ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000 (fees apply). All shows begin 7:30 p.m. For more information, call (609) 525-9300. The shows are presented by the City of Ocean City in association with Bob Rose & BRE Presents.
The schedule is as follows:
- June 30: Get The Led Out, Led Zeppelin tribute band, $35
- July 7: “Zappa Plays Zappa,” Dweezil Zappa plays the music of his late father, Frank Zappa, $35
- July 14: David Bromberg Quintet, legendary folk and blues guitarist on tour with band, $35
- July 21 Bacon Brothers, gritty rock from a band led by actor Kevin Bacon and his brother, Michael., $35
- July 28: The Machine performs Pink Floyd, $35
- Aug.4: G. Love and Special Sauce, alternative band from Philadelphia, $35
- Aug. 11: Indigo Girls, folk-rock duo, $37.
The Monday night series is just one part of a full schedule of summer entertainment on the Music Pier.
