National Weather Service snowfall predictions put Ocean City in a zone that calls for 1 to 3 inches of snow by Wednesday.

Just two days after the mercury topped 60 degrees, Ocean City is expected to see its first measurable snow of the season.

The National Weather Service predicts an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches of snow in Ocean City — particularly in the morning and ending by 3 p.m. The forecast calls for an 80 percent chance of precipitation.

The cold front arrived Sunday night with damaging winds for parts of Ocean City, and it will stick around for the week.

The high on Tuesday will reach 34 degrees, according to the most recent forecast. But temperatures will fall to a low of 13 degrees by Wednesday night — with west winds of 25 to 30 mph making it feel much colder.

The predicted high for Thursday is only 25 degrees.
