The Quintin Foundation invites everybody to attend its seventh annual charity dinner/dance, “When Life Gives You Lemons,” from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday April 24 at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City.

Admission includes a silent auction, dinner, dancing, open bar, entertainment by the Tidal Wave Band and a DJ.

The Foundation was founded by Ocean City resident Jessica Quintin who was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in a salivary gland in 2006 and who is now cancer-free. (Read more about the Quintin Foundation.) All proceeds from the event benefit the cancer programs at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

“The Quintin Foundation is proud to say that over the past seven years, we have been able to give all of the proceeds of our benefits to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital,” Quintin says. “This money has helped fund ongoing research at Jefferson Hospital, completely renovate the waiting area in the hospital’s Radiation Oncology Department, and most recently we have just agreed to transfer funds to renovate the Bodine Center’s exam rooms and nurses station with new equipment and décor which will have a positive impact on patient care and experience.”

Friday’s event will be a celebration of good health and good friends as well as a charity event.

To be placed on the guest list, attendees must purchase admission prior to the event. Admission is $75 per guest. To be placed on the guest list or to make a donation, pay online at quintinfoundation.com or send checks to:
