Ocean City voters will go to the polls Tuesday (June 3) for the primary election.

In contested races, Republicans will choose from four candidates running to oppose Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Cory Booker in the November general election. Republican U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo faces a challenge from 26-year-old Atlantic City resident Mike Assad. LoBiondo has held the seat since 1994.
In the race for the seat in Congress, Democrats will choose from William J. Hughes Jr., a Northfield resident and Atlantic City lawyer whose father served in the same Congressional seat from 1974 to 1995, and David H. Cole, an engineer from Mantua Township.
Ocean City Democrats also will select members to serve on the party’s county committee (different candidates by ward and district).
