Ocean City’s playground will be named for Benjamin Wheeler, a 6-year-old killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in 2012.

WHO: “Where Angels Play” founded by the NJFMBA (New Jersey Firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Assn.) have now completed 22 Playgrounds after Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy and the Sandy Hook tragedy.

WHAT: Will dedicate the new Playground in Ocean City to honor the life and personality of Benjamin Wheeler, a student who tragically lost his life on December 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut…

WHERE: At 2901 West Ave. in Ocean City next to the Fire House.

WHEN: Sunday, May 18th at 11 a.m., a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at the site to open the new facility. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
